Emory & Henry Students Take Action at Appalachian Sustainable Development’s Garden

Dr. Shelley Koch teaches the 200-level Food and Justice course at Emory & Henry University, where students have the opportunity to give back to the local community through service. Community service is a key element of the class, where students study the struggles community members face when it comes to food access and the impact non-profit organizations and food pantries have on families in need.
