Step 1:
Claim your enrollment with your deposit. You can pay your deposit through the application portal, PayPal mobile app, or by mailing a check to the Office of Admissions.

Enrollment Timelines
Fall 2026 Semester
Students accepted to Emory & Henry for the Fall Semester can refer to this timeline for guidance in completing the process to become an enrolled student. If you have questions email the admissions office or contact your Admission Counselor. Visit What’s Next page for enrollment steps.
- December: FAFSA opens for filing (using prior, prior year tax returns if desired) The U.S. Department of Education announced significant changes to the FAFSA filing process. The form is currently available in the soft launch phase with periodic pauses to functionality. We expect an update on FAFSA filing starting February 1.
- Submit your enrollment deposit as soon as possible to confirm your enrollment. Pay the enrollment deposit of $100 today.

As soon as possible/Starting February 1: Priority deadline for filing FAFSA
*First-come, first-served basis. The previous year’s FAFSA application opened in October. This year is delayed. Please file FAFSA as soon as possible, starting February 1. - Don’t forget Admitted Student Day! Admitted student days give you a close-up look at Emory & Henry through tours, academic sessions and student life events. You can meet faculty, advisors and current students, get answers about majors, financial aid, and next steps and explore clubs and support services. It’s a chance to get a feel for the University, visualize your life here, and connect with the community.
- March 15: Summer Experience Day registration begins. Choose your summer experience day and provide information about your core interests.
- May-July: Summer Experience Day for all new incoming students.
- May 1-15: Enrollment Forms become available for fall. Begin completion of enrollment forms after submitting the enrollment deposit.
- May 15 (to be determined): Priority deadline for completing FAFSA verification process, if selected *Aid cannot be released until this process is completed.
- June 15: Student billing is typically available. Estimates are available to enroll in the Tuition Payment Plan as needed.
- June 1: Enrollment Forms Due
- July 1: Medical Form is Due
- July 31: Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant ( VTAG ) deadline.
- First Day of Classes: Payment in full is due for those choosing not to enroll in a tuition payment plan.
- New student move-in is planned for a date to be determined.
- Orientation programming is planned for dates to be determined. During your Orientation, you will get to know the campus — and your future classmates — over four fun-filled, entertaining, and informative days.
