Honors Program Scholarship Application

The Honors Program hosts scholarship days when you can interview for the program and meet our current scholars. You can interview for a place in The Honors Program,  on February 14, 2026, as part of Emory & Henry’s Admissions Open House.

If you have an unavoidable conflict, we can interview you on almost any Friday during the spring semester—from January until mid April. So, if you have plans to visit to audition, meet coaches, visit our Equestrian facilities, let us know and we’ll arrange to meet with you!

The Emory & Henry Honors Program is active in the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC), the National Society for Minorities in Honors (NSFMIH), the Phi Eta Sigma national Honor society (P.E.S.), and the Virginias Collegiate Honors Council for West Virginia and Virginia (VCHC).

Our Honors students have too many benefits and opportunities to briefly list here, so please review the “About” and “Benefits” pages.

The Honors Program admission process is based on a holistic review of each student’s application. First, complete your application to the University. Once you receive the email letting you know that you have been accepted to Emory & Henry, you can begin working on your application to the Honors Program.

If you have already been accepted to the University (Congratulations!), the next step is to apply to the Honors Program. Once you complete this form, we’ll contact you.

“Honors is the family where I found my place on campus and my voice in the classroom. It is the place where I have been able to grow as a leader and foster my connections with both students and faculty, on and off campus. The Honors Program stands as the main tenant of my life and college experience.”

—Layne Hubble, Class of 2020
